We're launching an innovative new installation at ACS25 and are committed to delivering even more value to our members.

A Platform for Every Voice (Well, At Least Member Voices)

While we wish we could have everyone join us in San Sebastian and feature every expert voice on stage, we understand the limitations of time, travel, and the agenda. That's why we're creating "My Views" - a unique video series exclusively for our members.

What Is "My Views"?

On May 29, coinciding with ACS25, we'll launch a collection of carefully curated, professionally edited 3-minute thought leadership videos across six key domains:

• Artificial Intelligence

• Mobile Technology

• User Experience

• The Channel

• Platform

• The Value of Security

These concise, TED Talk-style presentations will be showcased on YouTube and promoted through LinkedIn, amplifying your insights to our global community.

How It Works

1. You Record: Share your expert perspective

2. We Edit: Our team ensures professional quality

3. We Post: Released on ACS25 day

4. We All Promote: Leveraging our collective network

Guidelines for Participation

• Duration: Strictly 3 minutes; no introductions needed

• Content: Focus on thought leadership, not promotional content

• Topics: Choose from AI, Mobile, UX, Channel, Platforms, The Value of Security

• Quality: Professional audio and video required (technical specifications below)

• Deadline: April 1, 2024 (firm deadline). You can submit them at any time (starting today)

• File Naming: Include your chosen topic in the filename

Best practices on quality audio and video:

Video Requirements

1. Resolution:

   • Minimum: 1080p (Full HD)

   • Preferred: 4K for future-proofing and better quality.

2. Aspect Ratio:

   • Standard: 16:9.

   • For Shorts: 9:16 (vertical format).

3. Frame Rate:

   • Consistent frame rate (e.g., 24, 30, or 60 fps). Avoid variable frame rates.

4. Lighting:

   • Even lighting without harsh shadows or overexposure.

   • Natural light or professional lighting setups are recommended.

5. Background:

   • Clean and non-distracting or branded.

   • Consider adding subtle branded elements like a logo or color theme.

6. Stability:

   • Use a tripod or stabilizer for steady shots. Avoid shaky handheld footage unless stylistically intended.

7. File Format:

   • Preferred: MP4 (H.264 codec).

   • Ensure no watermarks or logos are used in editing software.

Audio Requirements

1. Clarity:

   • Crisp, clear sound with minimal background noise.

   • Use external microphones (e.g., shotgun, lavalier, or USB condenser mic) instead of built-in camera microphones.

2. Volume Levels:

3. Background Noise:

General Tips for Making Great Videos

1. Storyboarding:

   • Plan the content with a clear structure (intro, main content, outro).

   • Have a strong hook in the first 5–10 seconds.

2. Engaging Content:

   • Speak directly to the camera to create a personal connection.

   • Use simple language and maintain a conversational tone.

3. B-roll and Visuals:

   • Include supplementary footage, text overlays, or animations to enhance visual interest.

4. Title:

   • Titles should be concise, descriptive, and optimized for SEO.

• Submit a finalized, edited version (no raw footage unless requested).

• Ensure copyright compliance for music, visuals, and any external content used.
